The most important thing in talking in front of many people is our self-confidence, but it's hard to find the self-confidence. So, all the first thing we should do, of course, is find our self-confidence. But how? According to my experiences, we can find self-confidence by preparing the material of the talking or speech completely. Be sure that you can talk fluently when you talk about the talking or speech. I suggest that all of these, you practice them in your own home. (In your own room is better). You need concentration, so if you practice at your home, there will be not so many noises.
When you speak in front of the people or on the stage, you can also solve your nervous. Before you start talking, take a deep breath first. When you are talking, first, please don't see the audiences or people first. After you talk for a few minutes, you slowly see the audiences. Be sure you have the body language. By having the body language, it can solve your nervous. If you can't have a big body language, you just use the small one, just like when you want to stress a word or a sentence, just whip your hand for a while. Just like singing.
The another one, please don't take a deep breath when you are talking. It will increase your nervous. Keep your performance until the talking or speech is well performed. But, that's a fact. When the speech or talking coming to end, we won't feel too nervous, because we think that it will soon end. It's a good thing, but please still remember the speech. After the speech ends, don't forget to say 'thank you' to the audiences. After you down from the stage, take a deep breath again and your nervous will gone.
